Lisa and Susan are some of the sweetest and most genuine people I have met. These two definitely made an impression on me in the short time I’ve known them. The entire day was packed full of emotions, sweet moments, and love.
They were married on a beautiful August day at Monastero’s in Chicago, Illinois. After a quick first look, we headed to Legion Park before the ceremony for some quick pictures outside then headed back to the Botticelli room at Monastero’s for the ceremony. This Sicilian restaurant is a unique and gorgeous setting for a wedding!
Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.
Congratulations again to Lisa and Susan!
This wedding was an absolute dream to photograph. Beautiful details, a gorgeous and bubbly bride, a beautiful but HOT day, a seriously amazing venue, and they brought in an ICE CREAM TRUCK! The bride and groom even served their guests the ice cream.
If you’re looking for a unique and very cool wedding venue in the Chicago suburbs, Warehouse 109 is it! There is an entire gallery wall full of antique motorcycles, a vintage bar, an Airstream lounge, string lights, and so many more cool elements that make it such a stunning venue! It is such a different and beautiful space, definitely a photographer’s dream.
Jill and Kevin’s wedding was a super fun day full of laughs and definitely one of my favorite weddings to date. Check out some of my favorites from their June wedding.

This wedding will always be memorable to me. The day started off gloomy during preparation photos and poured down rain during the ceremony. Immediately after their ceremony ended and all the indoor portraits were finished, the clouds broke and the sun came out. It was the most perfect timing. Since the weather had been so gloomy, the Prairie Center for the Arts was almost empty when we arrived which gave us free reign over any area we wanted to use for photographs. I was able to capture some fun surprises throughout the day from the bridal party and some co-workers which was a first for me. Above all, I was able to capture some really beautiful moments between Jeff and Alyssa which is really what makes this wedding so memorable to me. Check out some of my favorites from their June wedding.
Cake // Baking Institute
Congratulations to Jeff and Alyssa! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
I have known Katie for many, many years so it was extra special for me to see be able to photograph her wedding. It’s completely clear when you spend any amount of time with Katie and Tony that they are madly in love. You can see it in the way they look at each other and feel it in the emotions they bring out in each other.

They chose to have their First Look in their own backyard. I always love when couples choose to have a First Look because it feels like time stops for just a few minutes and it’s just the two of them in the moment of realizing they are about to be married. The emotions I capture in this privacy feel more pure, raw, and beautiful. This was one of the sweetest First Looks I have had the honor of photographing.
It was an absolutely beautiful wedding on a day that ended up being really beautiful as well, even with the small rain shower (downpour) we encountered on the way to Cantigny Park for some photos before the wedding.
The ceremony and reception were at Mesón Sabika which is a beautiful venue in Naperville, Illinois.
I absolutely LOVED the fabulous red heels she wore, especially to use as a background for a ring shot.
Congratulations again to Mr. and Mrs. Navickas! <3 Your love is so sweet and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
When I first met Meagan, we instantly became friends. She’s just that kind of person who makes you instantly love her. Her smile makes you smile, her laugh makes you laugh, and she is a beautiful person inside and out. I met Austin for the first time at their wedding and just loved watching them together. They are so clearly perfect for each other and their wedding was filled with fun, laughter, and emotions.
The bride and groom exchanged letters to read before leaving for the ceremony.
The bride chose to do a First Look with her bridesmaids which was really fun!
My favorite part of the day was definitely her First Look with her Dad. Such sweet moments.
The bridal party stopped at Roundheads in Lombard, Illinois for some delicious pizza, drinks, and fun photos before heading over to the reception.
Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace is such a beautiful venue! Just look at those chandeliers.
The dance floor was absolutely packed all night long. Definitely a fun group!
Meagan and Austin, I wish you so many years of happiness together. Thank you so much for the honor of photographing your wedding.
