Fall Mini Sessions | Oswego, IL | Lisle, IL family photography

On August 5th, I will be joining thousands of runners from across the country to participate in my 3rd St. Jude Run. I am part of the Chillicothe to Peoria St. Jude Run satellite team and our leg consists of just over 55 miles. I plan to run as many of those miles and raise as much money as I am able to. Last year, I ran 33 miles on run day and raised $3,300. I set my goal higher this year and would love to reach it but I still have a long way to go so I decided to donate $25 from each Fall Mini Session to my fundraising goal. All of the money we raise goes to make sure that families never receive a bill for the time their child spends at St. Jude, including housing, travel, food, and treatments. Every little bit helps.

I included some photos in this post so you get a little feel for run day. The picture of me and my husband is right around 20 miles in:)the day is full of inspiration, encouragement, emotion, and I consider it to be one of the best days of the year because of the runner culture and the amazing people I have met in the years I have been part of this team.

In order to secure a session, a $25 must be made to my St. Jude fundraising page, then the remaining $125 must be paid before the session. If you see a date/time combo that works for you, please email me at joannasmithphotos@yahoo.com (fastest method) or comment on this blog post to snag it.

The following dates and times are available to book:

Friday, August 11th @ Hudson Crossing Park in Oswego, IL: 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 6:00pm

Saturday, September 23rd @ The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL: 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00pm
